Mating Half and Latch Lock Retention
The 1-794954-2 mates with the VAL-U-LOK dual-row pin header (through-hole or vertical mount, same 4.20 mm pitch and 12-circuit count) or with a matching dual-row plug housing that carries pin contacts. The latch is a single-piece moulded feature on the housing, so there is no separate clip to lose during field service. If the harness sees vibration, the latch lock holds the pair mated without additional hardware.
