Shielded Construction and Lever Lock
The shielded variant of the Micro Quadlok receptacle is built for harness runs that need EMI protection — the metal shell around the contact cavity bleeds interference to the chassis ground before it reaches the signal pins. The lever lock on the sides of the housing pulls the connector pair together and holds them under vibration; the engagement force is higher than a standard latch, so the harness builder gets a positive mate that does not back off in a vehicle or machine enclosure.

Each position accepts a crimped socket terminal — the wire is terminated outside the housing and then inserted, which is the standard field-repair and harness-build method.
