Two-Circuit Plug Housing for Automotive Harnesses
The housing accepts tab-style crimp contacts and mates with the corresponding Junior Timer header or receptacle. Key specs include a 5.00 mm pitch, single-row layout, panel mount with a latch lock, and a blue PBT glass-filled insulation body. The housing is sold without contacts — the mating tab terminals are ordered separately to populate the harness.
This housing ships empty — contacts are ordered separately. The Junior Timer tab contacts are crimp-style terminals that insert into the housing cavities.
Panel-Mount Fit and Latching
The housing mounts to a panel cutout and secures with an integral latch lock — a positive retention feature that resists vibration-induced disconnection in automotive underhood or industrial cabinet environments. The latch audibly clicks when fully mated with the header. No secondary locking mechanism is required for the housing-to-header interface, though a TPA (terminal position assurance) device may be used with the contacts depending on the application.
