The TE Connectivity 1-967412-2 is a 2-position receptacle housing from the Junior Power Timer series, designed for wire-to-wire power interconnects in automotive and industrial environments. This is a bare housing — contacts are not included and must be ordered separately as crimp terminals. The 5.00 mm pitch provides generous spacing for power wiring, giving enough creepage for 12V/24V automotive systems and room for larger-gauge wire entry. The housing is sealed, making it suitable for wet or splash-prone locations such as underhood engine compartments, lighting harnesses, or industrial washdown areas.
The 5.00 mm pitch is the defining board-layout dimension if this housing mates with a through-hole header — it sets the contact spacing on the PCB footprint. For a harness builder, the pitch determines the minimum bend radius for parallel wire routing. The crimp termination style means the installer strips the wire, crimps the terminal, and inserts it into the housing cavity until the locking ramp seats. For a complete mated pair, this receptacle mates with the corresponding Junior Power Timer header (male pin side). The single-row, 2-position layout keeps the assembly compact for point-to-point power runs.
