The 102153-6 is a 26-position, dual-row, shrouded header from the AMP-Latch series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. Rated at 1A per contact, this is a signal-level interconnect — suitable for logic, data, and low-power I/O lines, not for power distribution. The gold or gold-palladium mating finish (15.0µin minimum) supports repeated mating cycles typical in field-service or test-fixture applications.
Sourcing and compliance check
RoHS non-compliant — the contact post finish is tin-lead. If your assembly requires RoHS compliance, a lead-free alternative from the same series must be selected.
Mating and termination details
This is a through-hole solder header with a 0.110" post length. The 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating socket into alignment. The mounting flange on the header provides additional mechanical stability to the PCB, especially when the cable assembly is frequently disconnected.
