26-position, 0.100" pitch header for ribbon cable assemblies
The 102321-6 is a TE Connectivity AMP-Latch header designed for board-to-cable/wire connections, commonly used with 26-conductor ribbon cable and matching IDC receptacles. The full 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins from bending during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment, while the latch lock/eject hooks provide a positive mechanical lock and tool-free release — useful in applications where the cable assembly is frequently disconnected.
Signal-level current and wide thermal range
Rated at 1A per contact at 250VAC, this header is suited for signal-level interconnects, not power distribution.
Mating and board integration
The header mates with AMP-Latch IDC receptacles (such as 746285-6 or similar 26-position socket housings) and accepts standard 0.100" pitch ribbon cable. The keying slot and mounting flange help align the connector and secure it to the PCB during soldering and in service. Through-hole mounting with 0.155" (3.94mm) post length provides a robust solder joint; the 0.684" (17.37mm) overall contact length ensures adequate standoff for the mating receptacle. The insulation height of 0.549" (13.94mm) leaves clearance for components under the header body.
