The 103309-5: Each contact is rated 1A, typical for signal-level interconnect where the current per circuit stays well below the temperature rise ceiling of the UL94 V-0 housing. The push-pull fastening type and keying slot prevent mis-mating with non-keyed counterparts, so the harness builder can feel the latch seat without forcing the pair together.
The 0.120" (3.05mm) solder post length suits through-hole boards up to about 1.6mm thick; the 0.240" (6.10mm) mating pin length gives the IDC receptacle enough wipe to establish contact.
The keying slot in the shroud ensures the mating plug is oriented correctly — a non-keyed socket will not fully engage, preventing reversed or misaligned connections.
