Right-angle orientation and board footprint
The right-angle solder tails extend 0.135" (3.43mm) below the board surface, fitting standard through-hole PCB thicknesses. The 0.360" (9.14mm) insulation height leaves clearance for the mating socket's latch and cable strain relief. A keying slot prevents reverse insertion — the header accepts only the correctly keyed socket.
The 103311-2 is also a right-angle header like the 103310-2, but ships in a tube instead of bulk, and carries a thicker 30.0µin gold or gold-palladium mating finish for higher mating-cycle applications.
