8-position SMT breakaway header, 2.54mm pitch
The 1241050-4 is an 8-position, dual-row, unshrouded breakaway header from the AMPMODU Mod II series. The 0.100-inch (2.54mm) pitch and 0.100-inch row spacing are standard for prototyping and production, fitting many IDC or crimp receptacles in the AMPMODU range.
Gold flash on the mating side, tin on the tails
Contact finish is gold or gold-palladium on the mating surface at flash thickness, with tin on the solder tails. Flash gold handles moderate mating cycles — expect a few dozen to low hundreds before the underplating wears — but keeps the cost below selective-plating grades. The brass square pins measure 0.228-inch (5.80mm) mating length, which is typical for a standard AMPMODU Mod II pin and provides a solid wipe with the receptacle contact.
