7-Position IDC Receptacle — Mark II Series
The TE Connectivity 1394355-7 is a 7-position, single-row receptacle from the Mark II series. It terminates discrete wires via IDC — no crimp tool needed for the wire-to-board connection — and uses a blade-pin contact set with tin plating. The 0.197" (5.00mm) pitch gives enough room for power-level wiring without crowding the harness. A latch lock on the housing holds the mated pair together under vibration, and the dual wire exit feature lets the cable leave either side of the connector body for tight routing in a panel or enclosure.

Termination and Harness Fit
IDC termination means the wire insulation is pierced by the contact tines as the cover is pressed down — no stripping, no crimping. The 5.00 mm pitch and single-row layout keep the harness narrow. The latch lock gives an audible click when fully mated, and the dual wire exit lets you route the cable left or right out of the housing, which helps when the connector sits against a panel wall or inside a junction box.
