The contact termination is crimp, which means the assembly requires a matched crimp tool and applicator for the specific contact part number. Without the correct die and crimp height, the pull-out force on the wire will be below spec, and the contact may not seat fully into the housing cavity. Section the first crimp to confirm strand capture before running the full harness.
Mating Half and Fastening
