HPI 1.00 mm Receptacle Housing — 4 Circuits
The crimp terminals for this series are small-gauge (typically 28-32 AWG), so the wire bundle stays thin. The white colour is a visual key for the housing; it helps a harness builder distinguish this 4-circuit HPI receptacle from other housings in the same series that share the same body shape but differ in position count.
The female crimp socket contacts that go into it must be sourced as a separate line item — TE's HPI series uses a specific contact part number (check the HPI application tooling drawing for the exact terminal). This is a common sourcing trip point: the BOM needs both the housing and the contact, and the contacts are often the longer-lead item. The housing accepts the crimp terminal, which is then inserted from the rear and retained by the housing's internal lance.
