HPI 5-Position Receptacle Housing — What It Is
The TE Connectivity 1470364-5 is a 5-circuit, single-row receptacle housing from the High Performance Interconnect (HPI) series. It is a free-hanging (in-line) housing that accepts crimp-terminated female socket contacts — the contacts themselves are ordered separately.
Termination and Mating
This housing is a crimp-termination shell — you select the appropriate female socket terminal (TE HPI series) and crimp it onto the wire, then insert the terminated contact into the housing cavity. The housing mates with a matching 1.00 mm pitch HPI header (male pin header) to complete the wire-to-board connection. Because contacts are not included, the BOM line for this housing must be paired with the correct crimp terminal part number and the header half.
