Board Fit and Mating Interface
The 147255-2: In a low-vibration bench or rack application, that is fine.
Plating and Contact Life
Tin-lead is a proven, low-cost finish for moderate-cycle applications — think 50–100 mating cycles before the contact resistance starts to climb. The 100.0µin thickness gives a generous wear layer; thinner tin-lead (30–50 µinch) would wear through faster on repeated mate/unmate. The contact base is phosphor bronze, a standard spring alloy that resists stress relaxation at elevated temperatures. The square pin shape mates with standard AMPMODU Mod II box contacts.
