Press-fit or solder — termination choice on the same part
The datasheet lists both press-fit and solder termination for the same order code. That means you can press it into a plated through-hole for a solderless backplane-style assembly, or wave-solder it if your line is set up for that. The post length is 0.130" (3.30mm) — enough for a standard 1.6mm PCB with a bit of tail for the solder fillet. The housing is black, glass-filled thermoplastic rated UL94 V-0, so it passes the flame test inside an enclosure without a secondary barrier.
