Plug Housing for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The TE Connectivity VAL-U-LOK 1586023-5 is a 5-position, single-row plug housing designed for wire-to-board interconnect applications. It uses a 4.20mm pitch and a locking ramp fastening system to secure the mate with the matching VAL-U-LOK header.
Termination and Contact Note
The 1586023-5 mates with the corresponding VAL-U-LOK header (male pin header, through-hole or SMT, same 4.20mm pitch). The locking ramp on the plug housing engages the header latch for a positive, vibration-resistant connection. Panel mount feature allows the housing to snap into a cutout for cable-to-panel routing. The white color aids visual identification in multi-connector harnesses.
