IP67 Sealing and Terminal Position Assurance
IP67 rating means the mated connector survives immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes — not a splash rating, a submersion rating. The housing seal and the individual wire seals (with the correct crimp contacts and seals) keep the terminals dry in washdown, rain, or shallow flood conditions. The Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) feature is a secondary lock that slides over the terminal cavities after crimp insertion. If a terminal isn't fully seated, the TPA won't engage — it's a go/no-go check that saves you from intermittent opens in the field.
