What This 6-Position Receptacle Housing Is
The TE Connectivity 1735447-6 is a 6-position, single-row receptacle housing from the High Performance Interconnect (HPI) series. It uses a 2.00mm pitch, crimp termination, and a latch lock for secure mating. The housing is natural thermoplastic, rated for -25°C to 85°C, and is designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board or wire-to-wire applications where a compact, reliable interconnect is needed.

This is a housing only — contacts are not included. The 1735447-6 requires separately ordered female socket crimp terminals to populate the 6 positions. Ordering the housing without the matching terminals is a common stockroom mistake that leaves an orphan shell on the shelf.
Mating and Termination
As a receptacle housing, it mates with the corresponding HPI series male header (pin header) of the same 6-position, 2.00mm pitch configuration. Termination is crimp-style — the female socket contacts are crimped onto the wire, then inserted into the housing cavities.
