The TE Connectivity 174137-1 is a Duplex fiber optic coupler from the OPTIMATE series, designed to join two DNP Receptacle-terminated fiber cables. Panel Mount and Installation
This coupler mounts through a panel cutout — you'll need the panel thickness and hole dimensions from the product drawing to ensure a snug fit. The DNP interface on both sides means you're mating standard DNP-terminated patch cords or pigtails. The dust cap keeps debris off the ferrule alignment sleeve when the port is idle, which matters in industrial or telco environments where dust can scratch the fiber end face on insertion.
