The housing accepts the terminal from the rear, and the latch lock retains it once fully inserted.
Mating Half and Panel Fit
The header is typically through-hole or right-angle PCB mount, also in the Economy Power II series. The free-hanging housing suits harness-to-board connections where the receptacle is on a cable assembly and the header is soldered to the PCB.
