14-Position Plug Housing for Signal Double Lock Harnesses
The TE Connectivity 1746076-1 is a 14-position plug housing from the Signal Double Lock series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-wire or wire-to-board harness assemblies. It uses a latch holder fastening system for a positive, audible lock when mated with the matching Signal Double Lock receptacle housing.
What the Housing Does and Does Not Include
This is a housing only — contacts are not included. Each position accepts a male pin crimp terminal (sold separately) that is inserted into the cavity and retained by the integral lance. The latch holder on the top of the housing provides secondary retention, preventing the terminals from backing out under vibration. The single-row layout with 14 positions on the standard Signal Double Lock pitch means the mating receptacle must also be a 14-position, single-row version to align the circuits.
