The 176270-1 is the same 1-position plug housing in a natural (uncoloured) PA66 housing — identical dimensions, same latch lock, same crimp termination, same 'Contacts Not Included' note. The only difference is the colour: red (176270-2) versus natural (176270-1). For a harness builder, the colour choice is a visual line-code on the assembly board, not a functional difference. Both are active, both accept the same female socket contact.
