Panel mount snap-in — no hardware needed
The 176294-1 mounts directly into a panel cutout with a snap-in fit. No screws, brackets, or additional retainers — the housing clips into the panel and the latch lock on the mating half takes the cable strain. This is the right call for a harness that needs to be field-serviceable: push it in, it seats; pull the latch, it releases. The natural colour is un-pigmented PA66, which means no colour-coding for keying — if the harness needs visual position identification, add a marker or tie.
The housing accepts tab-type contacts terminated by crimp. The wire gauge range and current rating depend on the terminal chosen, not the housing. A common mistake is ordering the housing alone and stalling the build waiting for terminals — order both on the same BOM line.
