2-position, 5.00mm pitch plug for unshrouded headers
The 1776263-2 is a 2-position plug from the TE Buchanan series, designed to mate with unshrouded headers at a 0.197" (5.00mm) pitch. Rated 10 A at 300 V per UL, the plug handles typical industrial control signals and low-power distribution. The screw termination with leaf spring and wire guard accepts 16-24 AWG (0.2-1.4 mm²) solid or stranded wire, torqued to 0.34 Nm (3.0 Lb-In).
Mating and wire termination details
The interlocking side feature allows multiple plugs to be ganged side-by-side for multi-circuit assemblies without gaps. Termination is screw-clamp with a leaf spring and wire guard — strip the wire to the recommended length, insert into the clamp, and tighten the M2.6 screw to 0.34 Nm. The wire guard prevents conductor damage from the screw edge.
