It mates with the corresponding Power Double Lock header (male pin) of the same 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch and 2-circuit count — don't order half a connection. The crimp termination accepts the TE Power Double Lock female socket contacts (typically part number 1-917806-1 or similar, verify wire gauge range against your harness). The latch lock engages audibly when fully seated; the red colour is a visual cue for line-side identification in multi-connector harnesses.

The 1-1376477-6 is a 6-position plug housing in the same Power Double Lock family but at a tighter 0.098" (2.50mm) pitch. Both use a latch lock, free-hanging mount, and female socket contacts. The 177898-2's 0.156" pitch handles heavier wire gauges and higher current per circuit than the 2.50mm version — choose the 2-position when the circuit count is fixed and the wire size needs the wider spacing.
