What the 3-Row, 9-Position Layout Means for Your Harness
The 9 positions across 3 rows (3 circuits per row) is an uncommon count — most Power Double Lock housings run 2 to 12 positions in single or dual rows. The three-row arrangement gives you a compact square footprint for a 9-circuit power interconnect, keeping the connector face smaller than a single-row 9-position housing would be. Each position accepts a female socket crimp terminal (sold separately — see the FAQ for compatible terminal part numbers), terminated to the wire before insertion into the housing. The 3.96 mm pitch provides enough spacing between contacts for the 600 V rated creepage typical of the Power Double Lock series, without forcing oversized wire routing.
