10-Position Receptacle Housing for the Dynamic D-3100 Series
It uses a 0.150" (3.81mm) pitch between contacts and a 0.200" (5.08mm) row spacing across its two rows, giving a compact but serviceable footprint for power and signal circuits in industrial control, automotive, and appliance harnesses.
The 10-position count matches a 10-circuit harness or PCB header. The 3.81mm pitch is wider than typical signal connectors, giving more room for larger-gauge wire and higher creepage — the Dynamic D-3100 series is built for power distribution, not dense signal routing. The 178289-4 (8 positions) is the smallest dual-row member in this subfamily.
Crimp Termination — Contacts Are Ordered Separately
The crimp termination allows field-termination of individual wires, then insertion into the housing. The black thermoplastic housing provides polarization and a positive latch to prevent accidental unmating under vibration.
