Contacts Not Included — Order Terminals Separately
For the Dynamic D-3100 series, the mating contact is a female crimp socket that accepts a specific wire gauge range (typically 20-16 AWG for the standard power contact). The terminal is inserted into the cavity after crimping; the housing has a primary latch and a secondary lock (TPA) to ensure the terminal is fully seated. Always confirm the correct terminal part number against the wire size and current requirement for your harness.
Mating Header and System Fit
This receptacle mates with a Dynamic D-3100 series header of the same pitch (3.81mm) and row spacing (5.08mm), with 12 positions in a 2-row layout. The header is a through-hole or press-fit right-angle or vertical pin header — the exact part number depends on your board orientation and stack height. The free-hanging housing allows the wire harness to be routed directly to the board edge without a panel mount.
