10-position 3.81mm pitch header with board lock
The 178325-3 is a 10-position, 2-row vertical header from TE's Dynamic D-3100 series. Rated 250V, the connector suits signal and low-power distribution inside equipment enclosures. The UL94 V-0 glass-filled polyester housing meets flame-rating requirements for commercial and industrial gear.
This header mates with Dynamic D-3100 series receptacles that accept tab contacts (rectangular contact shape). The detent lock engages with the mating housing latch — no secondary TPA required on the header side. The board lock feature provides mechanical retention during wave soldering and resists push-out from cable strain. For a 2-row 10-position layout, the board lock adds about 0.5–1 N of extraction force per lock, which helps keep the header seated in high-vibration environments.
