Panel-Mount Plug Housing for Power and Signal Harnesses
It uses a 0.150" (3.81mm) pitch with a 0.200" (5.08mm) row spacing — common in industrial control cabinets, power distribution boxes, and heavy equipment harnesses where a rugged, field-serviceable crimp connection is required. The housing accepts crimp tab contacts (sold separately), and the mounting flange lets you bolt it directly to a panel face for strain relief and mechanical retention.
What Bolts In — Position Counts Across the D-3100 Line
The 178803-3 is the 6-position entry in the D-3100 panel-mount plug family. The 178803-5 carries 10 positions, the 178803-6 carries 12, and the 178803-7 carries 16. If your BOM calls for more than 6 circuits in the same footprint, step up to the 10-position 178803-5 without changing the panel cutout or harness routing.
The 178803-3 accepts Dynamic D-3100 series crimp tab contacts (tab style, crimp termination). The push-pull fastening locks the plug into the mating receptacle without tools.
