The TE Connectivity Dynamic D-3100 178964-3 is a 6-position, 2-row plug housing with a 3.81mm pitch and 5.08mm row spacing. It is the wire-side half of the Dynamic D-3100 power interconnect system, designed for free-hanging (in-line) crimp termination. The critical note on this part is that contacts are not included. A buyer adding this to a BOM must source the matching tab contacts for the Dynamic D-3100 series separately to complete the assembly.
The 3.81mm pitch and dual-row layout are shared across the series, so the header must match the 6-position count. The glass-filled thermoplastic provides the mechanical retention and polarization for the contact system.
