16-Position Plug Housing for Panel-Mount Harness Applications
Panel Mount with Latch Lock — Vibration-Resistant Retention
The panel-mount flange lets you fix the housing through a cutout in the enclosure wall or bulkhead. The latch lock resists accidental disconnection under vibration.
Crimp Termination — Build the Harness, Then Load the Housing
This is the go-to method for high-reliability harnesses because you can inspect the crimp quality before the contact is buried in the housing. The housing itself is a shell — no contacts, no wire seals, just the PBT body and the latch mechanism. You will need to source the correct TE crimp terminals for the wire gauge your design calls for; the housing accepts standard female sockets from the same series family.
The 16-position count and panel-mount configuration are the defining attributes for BOM matching; confirm the mating header or receptacle half separately, as the housing alone does not include contacts.
