Sealed 2-position plug housing for harsh environments
The 5.00mm pitch gives good spacing for routing 14-18 AWG wire without crowding.
The mating connector is a sealed receptacle housing with the same 5.00mm pitch and latch holder interface — typically the TE 184165 series or equivalent. The exact mating part number depends on the circuit count and mounting style (panel or free-hanging). For a 2-position sealed mate, look at the 184165-1 receptacle housing. For crimp contacts, use TE's male pin terminals designed for 5.00mm pitch housings, such as the 1-928918-1 or similar. These are crimp-on, sold separately, and must be seated fully until the latch clicks. The housing material is glass-filled PBT, which holds the terminal retention tines securely over temperature.
The closest functional second-source is the 1-1703884-1, which shares the same series and bulk packaging, but verify the latch and seal geometry against your mating half before substituting.
