MCON 6-Way Sealed Receptacle Housing
Sealed Housing for Harsh Duty
The sealed construction and the wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 125°C) point this housing at applications where a standard unsealed connector would fail — engine compartments, transmission interfaces, exposed harness runs on construction equipment, and outdoor telecom cabinets. The latch holder provides a positive mechanical lock that resists un-mating under vibration, a requirement for USCAR-grade automotive connections. The glass-filled nylon body holds its dimensional stability through thermal cycling and resists underhood fluids.
This is a crimp-and-poke housing: you insert the MCON female socket terminal (sold separately) into the cavity, and the latch holder retains it. The free-hanging (in-line) mount means it lives on the wire harness, not on a panel or PCB. The mating half is a TE MCON header with the same 4.00 mm pitch and latch-compatible shroud — order the header by its own MPN, matching the circuit count.
