Three-Circuit Economy Power 2.5 Housing for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The Glow Wire Compliant feature means the housing material passes the 750 °C glow-wire ignition test, a requirement for connectors mounted inside appliances that must not propagate a flame from a faulted component. The single-row, 3-position layout mates with the matching Economy Power 2.5 pin header (sold separately) using the integral latch holder for a positive lock against vibration.
The Contacts-Not-Included Trap
The buyer must order the matching Economy Power 2.5 crimp terminals separately (TE part number 1-1703513-1 for the male pin, or the equivalent female socket for the header side). The housing accepts the terminal after it is crimped onto 20-24 AWG wire, then the latch holder locks the terminal into the cavity. A common BOM miss is ordering only the housing and finding no terminals on the line.
Active Lifecycle and Sourcing
It is a current-production part from the TE Economy Power 2.5 family.
