A latch holder on the fastening side secures the mating plug. Glow wire compliance (per IEC 60335-1) makes it a fit for appliance and lighting applications where the connector must withstand a 650 °C glow-wire test without igniting.
What Contacts Fit and How to Terminate
Because contacts are not included, you'll need the matching Economy Power 2.5 male pin crimp terminal — typically TE part numbers 1-928918-1 or similar in the series. The crimp barrel accepts 20–24 AWG wire; the terminal locks into the housing cavity with a positive retention ramp. Panel installation is a straight snap-in: the housing clips into a rectangular cutout sized per the TE application drawing, no hardware needed.
