Wire-entry orientation and termination
The 1986374-6 is a 6-position plug in TE's terminal block connector family, with the wire entry angled 90° from the mating axis for routing along the panel or duct wall. Termination uses a screw - rising cage clamp that accepts 14-30 AWG (0.05-2 mm²) solid or stranded wire; the cage lifts against the screw to clamp the conductor without damaging the strands.
Side-stacking and housing features
Side-stacking capability lets multiple plugs key together side-by-side to form a multi-circuit block on the same header — the M2 screw secures each plug to the header, and the 0.756" (19.20 mm) insulation height provides clearance above the board.
