Plug, female sockets, 9 positions
The 1986374-9 is a 9-position plug with female socket contacts, part of the TE Connectivity terminal block line. It uses a screw rising cage clamp termination and accepts 14-30 AWG (0.05-2 mm²) wire. Rated 11 A at 300 V with tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts, the plug is rated UL94 V-0 and operates from -40°C to 110°C. The green housing includes a side-stacking feature for multi-level builds.
Wiring and mounting
Free hanging (in-line) mounting with a 90° wire entry — the plug mates into a fixed header at a right angle, keeping the wire bundle parallel to the board edge. The M2 screw drives the rising cage clamp that grips the conductor without damaging the strands.
