7-position plug for wire-to-wire
The 1986375-7 is a 7-circuit plug from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, using a rising cage clamp termination for 14-30 AWG (0.05-2 mm²) wire. Rated 11 A at 300 V with tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts, the plug mates with a matching header for a side-stackable, free-hanging interconnect.
Wire entry and stacking
Wire entry is at 270° relative to the mating face, and the housing supports side stacking — multiple plugs can be ganged without additional hardware. The M2 screw drives a rising cage clamp that secures the conductor against the bus bar; no wire ferrule is required for stranded wire within the AWG range.
