The 1986693-9 is a 9-position plug with female sockets from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, terminated by a screwless leg spring push-in mechanism — strip the wire, push it in, the spring clamps the conductor.
Side-stacking and housing details
The green polyamide housing carries a side-stacking feature — multiple plugs can be ganged side-by-side without losing position pitch, useful for building multi-level wire-to-wire junctions on a DIN rail or panel. Rated UL94 V-0, the housing is free-hanging with a 180° wire entry, insulation height 0.459" (11.66 mm).
