9-position push-in plug, side-stackable
The 1986720-9 is a 9-circuit plug from TE's 1986720 series, terminated via push-in spring clamps — no screwdriver needed for the wire, just strip and push.
Side stacking and wire entry
The housing includes side-stacking features so multiple plugs gang together on the same rail without extra hardware — each plug accepts wire at 180° entry, straight into the cage. Free-hanging (in-line) mounting means the plug floats in the harness rather than locking to a panel, which helps absorb vibration in a cable-to-cable splice.
