The single-row 2-pin footprint keeps the board-edge keep-out tight; the shrouded body adds 0.535" (13.60mm) of height above the PCB, so check z-clearance if the mating receptacle sits inside a low-profile enclosure. Rated for general-purpose, automotive, medical, and telecom applications.
