Ordering Contacts Separately — the Common Miss
This housing accepts the Dynamic D-2000 male crimp terminals — sized for 20–16 AWG wire, typically tin or gold plated depending on the mating cycle and environment requirement. If the BOM lists only this order code, the terminals are missing; add the matching TE 1-917808-2 or 1-917808-1 terminal part to the wire-side order.
This plug mates with the Dynamic D-2100 series receptacle headers, either vertical or right-angle PCB mount, in the same 12-position, 2.50 mm pitch layout. The free-hanging (in-line) body suits cable-to-board harnesses where the plug terminates a wire bundle and the header sits on the PCB. The locking ramp clicks over the header latch; the polarizing key ensures the plug only seats in the correct orientation.
