Wiring It Up — Contacts Are Not Included
For the Dynamic D-2100 series, the mating female socket contacts are ordered by wire gauge; typical choices cover 20-16 AWG for power circuits and 24-20 AWG for signal. The crimp tooling is the standard TE hand or pneumatic crimper for the D-2100 contact family. Free-hanging (in-line) mounting means this housing sits in the harness, not on the board. The latch lock holds it to the right-angle or vertical header on the PCB. No strain relief is built into the housing itself — plan for a cable tie or clamp near the connector exit if the harness sees flex or pull.
