5.00 mm pitch power header with locking ramp
The 2-1376383-3 is a 3-position, single-row header from the Power Key series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. The 5.00 mm pitch gives you room to route higher-current traces on the PCB without crowding. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the rectangular tab contacts during mating and handling. A locking ramp on the header engages with the mating receptacle's latch, holding the pair together under vibration. The insulation height of 0.555" (14.10 mm) and a mated stacking height of 19.4 mm define the board-to-cable clearance in the enclosure.
Through-hole termination and board guide
Termination is kinked pin, solder — the kink helps retain the header during wave solder before the joint solidifies. A board guide feature aligns the header during placement, reducing skew on the PCB. The contact finish on both the mating surface and the post is tin. Tin is the standard choice for cost-sensitive, moderate-cycle applications; it mates well with the tin-plated receptacle contacts typical in the Power Key line.
Material ratings and operating range
The housing is glass-filled PA66 (Nylon 6/6) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating — this meets the flame-retardant requirement for equipment inside an enclosure. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C, covering most industrial cabinet and automotive interior environments. Voltage rating is 300 VAC. Current rating varies by wire gauge used in the mating receptacle — the limiting factor is the wire, not the header contact itself.
