Its right-angle through-hole termination saves vertical space inside enclosures with limited clearance above the board. The 3.00mm pitch balances routing density with enough room for moderate current per circuit — the actual current rating depends on the wire gauge used in the mating terminal.

Mechanical Retention: Locking Ramp and Board Lock

A locking ramp on the header engages with the matching receptacle housing to resist accidental unmating under vibration or cable pull.
