The 2-1445084-9: Single-row, 9-position header on 3.00 mm pitch — the footprint is a straight line of 9 through-hole solder tails, each 0.125" (3.18 mm) long. Gold mating finish at 15.0 µin thickness handles repeated connect-disconnect cycles without the oxide build-up you get from tin-on-tin interfaces. The post side is tin-plated for solderability.
Press-fit or solder — termination flexibility
Rated for both press-fit and solder termination. Press-fit suits high-reliability backplane assemblies where rework is undesirable; solder works with standard wave-solder lines.
