The glass-filled PBT housing holds its dimensional stability through thermal cycling, so the latch lock and terminal retention don't relax after repeated heat-soak. That range also covers industrial cabinet environments where the connector sits near motors or exhaust paths.
Latch Lock and Free-Hanging Build
The latch lock on this receptacle provides a positive mechanical retention that resists un-mating from cable tug or machine vibration. Because it's a free-hanging (in-line) connector, there's no PCB footprint to worry about — the harness routes directly to the mating header or device. The crimp termination means each wire is terminated individually, so a damaged wire can be replaced without scrapping the whole connector.
