What This Housing Does in the Harness
It's the free-hanging (in-line) half of the Dynamic D-4200 mating pair — you wire the harness side, terminate the contacts with a crimp tool, and latch it to the matching board-mount header.
The housing accepts the standard D-4200 crimp contacts; match the terminal to your wire size (typically 20-24 AWG range for this series) and crimp with the appropriate TE hand tool or automatic press.
This receptacle mates with the Dynamic D-4200 series board-mount pin headers. The 3-position single-row layout means you're looking at a 1x3 header — confirm the header's circuit count and pitch (4.20 mm for the D-4200 series) match your board layout. The latch engages automatically.
