The 2-1761711-3: The shrouded 4-wall housing with a keying slot protects the pins during mating and prevents misalignment, while the latch lock/eject hooks hold the mating receptacle under cable strain — no chance of the connector backing out in a vibrating panel.

Mating Half and Termination Details

This header mates with AMP-Latch receptacles (socket housings) that accept 0.100" pitch ribbon cable or discrete crimp terminals. The latch lock/eject hooks engage the receptacle's locking ears for a positive, vibration-resistant connection.
